Our work will directly impact local and regional artists by leveling the playing field through financial and professional resources. Arts One Presents ensures an intention and integrity in works reflective of our community by selecting artists with diverse stories, mediums, and backgrounds. Through Arts One Presents projects, we provide next-level installation opportunities, elevating what it means to be an artist from Northwest Arkansas.
Additionally, Arts One Presents fills a need for community engagement with workshops, classes, and other events peripheral to primary programming with specific focus towards equalizing access and opportunity for marginalized groups. Our non-site specific company can meet different communities where they are. We will experiment with how to best mitigate socio-economic or geographical boundaries that prevent communities from accessing public theater.
With various levels of support, Arts One Presents can provide services like:
- Sign language interpretation for each production- $1,500 ($4,500 annually)
- Complimentary tickets for organizations that serve underrepresented communities- $350 ($3,500 annually )
- "Happy Opening Night" meals & hospitality for cast & crew- $3,500 per production
- Creative Community honorariums and stipends- $3,000 annually
- Costume preservation- $2,250 annually
